The base hourly wage is the table minimum. A personal wage component (HPO) is always paid on top, so the actual time wage (base wage + HPO) is higher than the table figure.

Allowances apply from 1 June 2026. The tool allowance is paid per day and the standard-hour factor (pipe, ventilation and sprinkler installation) is €19.65/standard-hour. Other allowances are paid per hour. The foreman allowance is €0.44/h in the guaranteed part and €0.68/h under time pay.

How is a plumber's wage structured?
The building-services HVAC collective agreement sets minimum base hourly wages in five wage groups (S and 1–4). The base hourly wage is the table minimum, on top of which a personal wage component (HPO) is always paid. The actual time wage is therefore base wage + HPO.
The base hourly wage rises from €13.00 (group S) to €20.55 (group 4). A vocational qualification adds €0.60/h and a specialist qualification €1.11/h. The tool allowance is €2.12/day and the standard-hour factor €19.65/standard-hour. We do not publish the HPO amount, as it is personal and employer-specific. Check your own wage group and HPO with your employer or shop steward.
