Data we process
The salary calculator itself runs entirely in your browser — we never store salary, municipality or age data on our servers. We process only your anonymised IP, browser type, operating system and referrer through technical logs and analytics. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymous usage statistics and Google AdSense may use cookies for ad personalisation.
Legal basis and purpose
The legal bases are our legitimate interest (technical operation of the service) and your consent (analytics, advertising). We use data to improve the service, fix bugs and target ads.
Retention
Technical logs are retained for up to 30 days. Analytics data is retained for 14 months per GA4 defaults.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure and portability, restrict and object to processing, and withdraw consent. You can also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Advertising and third parties
We use Google AdSense ads and Google Analytics. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Manage ad preferences at adssettings.google.com. Vercel acts as our technical hosting partner (eu-west-1).
