How are construction TES wages structured?
The building-construction collective agreement sets minimum hourly wages in six wage groups based on the worker's skill. Wages were raised by 2.9% from 1 June 2026. A skilled worker is placed in at least wage group IV.
On top of the table wage, everyone is paid a personal pay component plus a separate pay component of 7.7% (public-holiday compensation and working-time reduction) with each pay run. The holiday bonus is 18.5%. Shift work earns evening and night allowances. Check your own wage group with your employer or shop steward.

- What is the construction hourly wage in 2026?
- Building-construction TES table wages are €12.59–19.93/h from 1 June 2026 depending on the wage group. An entry-level worker (group I) gets €12.59/h and a highly experienced professional (group VI) €19.93/h. A skilled worker is placed in at least group IV (€17.12/h).
- What is the 7.7% separate pay component?
- The 7.7% separate pay component is paid with each pay run as public-holiday compensation and working-time reduction pay. It is itemised on the payslip and may not be included in the hourly or contract wage. The separate pay component does not accrue holiday bonus.
- How much is the construction holiday bonus?
- The construction holiday bonus is 18.5% of the pay earned during the working period. Of that, 14% is paid before the summer holiday and 4.5% before the winter holiday. The bonus also accrues on pay for sick leave and accident periods.
